Quest2Fitness is a workout-tracking app with a gamification layer. This page explains what data the app touches and what it does not. Short version: your workouts stay on your phone, we don't track you, and we don't share anything with anyone.
Every workout you log — exercises, sets, weight, reps, dates, your level, XP, lifetime total — is stored only on your device. It is not uploaded to our servers, sold, or shared. If you delete the app, the data goes with it.
When you first open the app, Firebase Authentication generates a random, anonymous user ID for you. That ID is stored on your phone and in Firebase. It is not linked to your name, email, phone number, or any other personal information. It exists so future versions of the app can sync your data across your own devices if you choose to sign in.
If the app crashes, an anonymous crash report is sent to Firebase Crashlytics (a Google service) so we can find and fix the bug. A crash report contains technical details — the stack trace, your device model, iOS version, and the app version — and is not linked to your name or identity. It never includes your workout data. Nothing else about you is sent anywhere.
Quest2Fitness is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone. If a child uses the app, the same rules apply: the data stays on the device.
Later versions of Quest2Fitness will let you sign in with Apple or Google to sync your workouts across devices, and will offer an optional paid tier with AI features. When that ships, this policy will be updated to describe exactly what that handles and how to opt out. The principle won't change: data we don't need, we don't collect.
Quest2Fitness uses two third-party services, both part of Google's Firebase platform: Firebase Authentication (the anonymous user ID) and Firebase Crashlytics (anonymous crash reports). You can read Firebase's privacy and security documentation for details on how Google handles this data.
You can delete all your data by deleting the app from your device. There is no account to log into, no separate dashboard, no support inbox holding records. If you want to confirm that nothing about you is in any cloud database, the answer is no — but if you have a question, email us at nycfreshkid@gmail.com.
If the app ever starts collecting more than it does now (for example when paid AI features ship), this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will change. Continued use of the app after a change means you've accepted the new terms.
